Bean is a farmable crop in Pokemon Pokopia and the base ingredient for all six hamburger steak recipes. Hamburger steaks power up the Rock Smash transformation, making Beans essential for players who need to break through harder materials like granite and steel.
Farming: Bean seeds are the first seeds available in the game. They can be purchased from the PC Shop in the Withered Wasteland for 50 Life Coins per 5 seed bags. Plant on tilled soil using Rototiller.
No watering needed: Beans are unique among crops because they grow without watering, making them the easiest crop to farm.
Quest reward: Hitmonchan gives you your first bean seeds during the "Grow Some Beans" request.

Pokemon with the Grow specialty speed up growth.
Beans regrow after harvesting without replanting.
Beans are the primary ingredient for all Hamburger Steak recipes. Eating Hamburger Steak powers up Rock Smash, allowing you to break through granite, steel, and crystal blocks. This is required to access Iron Ore, Gold Ore, and Pokemetal Fragments. Beans are also required for the Team Initiation Challenge.
