Overview
S-Class Arcs are the highest rarity weapons in Neverness to Everness. Twenty-one S-Class Arcs are confirmed at the April 29, 2026 global launch. These weapons pair the strongest base attack values and secondary stat rolls in the game with passive effects that often define a character's combat ceiling. Every S-Class Arc comes from the Scarborough Fair gacha, subject to a soft pity at 60 pulls and a 25 percent chance that a soft-pity S-Class will be the current featured banner weapon.
Arcs are not locked to specific Espers. Any Caster can equip any Arc regardless of whose banner it debuted on. That flexibility matters because signature passives generally scale best on their intended owner, but fallback picks with high base ATK or a strong secondary roll still outperform mismatched builds on nearly every character.

How to Obtain S-Class Arcs
S-Class Arcs drop from the Scarborough Fair weapon banner. The pity system for Arcs runs separately from the character banner. Key rules:
Soft pity activates at 60 pulls, guaranteeing an S-Class Arc on the next pull.
Every 10-pull guarantees at least one A-Class or higher Arc, which still feeds the pity counter toward a soft-pity S-Class.
On a limited featured banner, the guaranteed S-Class has a 25 percent chance of being the promoted Arc and a 75 percent chance of being a standard pool S-Class. Neverness to Everness does not have a 50/50 split for character banners, but the Arc banner does use a weighted roll.
Refinement requires duplicate copies of the same Arc; each duplicate advances refinement by one rank, up to R5.
S-Class Arcs vs A-Class Alternatives
Not every character needs a Rank 1 S-Class Arc. Several A-Class Arcs at higher refinement levels outperform unrefined S-Class options for specific roles. Mind Royale at R5 is the go-to budget weapon for stagger-oriented Casters, and Watch Your Heads! remains competitive for Lakshana DPS comps thanks to its CRIT DMG and reaction-scaling passive. For free-to-play accounts, refining an A-Class Arc that matches a main carry's scaling stat is usually a better investment than chasing a second S-Class limited banner.
Tips for Pulling and Using S-Class Arcs
Prioritize the S-Class Arc whose passive matches your current main DPS. Mismatched passives rarely pay off, even at high base ATK.
Save premium gacha currency for Arc banners featuring weapons for the Esper you plan to main. Spending pity on a support Arc while running a carry team wastes pity counter value.
Check the Arc loadout preview before committing to a refinement. Some passives look strong on paper but stall on characters whose rotations do not trigger the conditional windows.
Claim every free Arc from story, events, and pre-launch campaigns before spending pulls. Free A-Class Arcs like The Forgotten save a full pity cycle worth of pulls.
Match the secondary stat to the role. DPS Casters want CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, or ATK rolls; tanks and healers benefit more from HP, DEF, or Charge Efficiency.
