Overview
Neverness to Everness supports multiple input methods across all of its platforms. On PC, players can use a keyboard and mouse or connect a gamepad. On PlayStation 5, the DualSense controller is fully supported with advanced haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Mobile devices use touchscreen controls with a virtual joystick and customizable button layout. The Mac version shares the same control options as the PC build when paired with an external controller or keyboard.
PC Controls
The PC version supports both keyboard and mouse input and gamepad controllers natively. Players can switch between input methods at any time without restarting the game. The default keyboard layout follows standard action-RPG conventions, with WASD for movement, mouse for camera control, and number keys for skill slots.
The launch roadmap confirmed that additional keyboard bindings will be added to give players more flexibility in remapping keys. During the Co-Ex Test beta, some players noted that keyboard controls for vehicle driving felt overly sensitive, which the developers acknowledged as a tuning issue to be addressed before launch.

Controller Support
Neverness to Everness supports DualShock, DualSense, and Xbox controllers on PC. The game auto-detects connected controllers and switches the on-screen button prompts accordingly.
DualSense Features
The DualSense controller receives standout support in Neverness to Everness. Reviewers during the Co-Ex Test praised the implementation as one of the best among recent action RPGs. Key DualSense features include:
Adaptive Triggers: Driving vehicles makes extensive use of the adaptive triggers, with resistance varying based on vehicle speed, terrain, and throttle pressure.
Haptic Feedback: Players feel distinct vibrations across different surfaces as they traverse the city. Running across rooftops, sprinting on pavement, and walking through grass all produce unique tactile responses.
Combat Feedback: Supernatural encounters produce intense rumbles that match the force and scale of Anomaly attacks, adding a physical dimension to combat.
PlayStation 5 Controls
On PlayStation 5, the DualSense controller is the primary input device. All DualSense features described above are fully supported. The PS5 Pro Enhanced version includes the same controller support with no differences in input handling.
Mobile Controls
On iOS and Android, Neverness to Everness uses a virtual joystick on the left side of the screen for movement and on-screen buttons on the right for combat actions. The mobile UI was redesigned based on beta feedback to improve button placement and responsiveness.
Virtual Joystick: Left side of screen for character movement and vehicle steering.
Attack Buttons: Right side of screen for normal attacks, skills, and ultimate abilities.
Auto-Target: Optional automatic targeting assists players in combat on smaller screens.
Customizable Layout: Players can reposition and resize on-screen buttons in the settings menu.
Controller Support: Bluetooth controllers (MFi-certified on iOS, HID on Android) are supported for mobile play.
Accessibility Options
The settings menu includes options for adjusting camera sensitivity, inverting axes, toggling aim assist, and adjusting vibration intensity for controllers. The launch roadmap mentioned further accessibility improvements as ongoing priorities.
