Overview
The PWG (Perfect World Games) account is the unified login identity for Neverness to Everness. It is the same account used to claim pre-registration rewards, to log in across platforms, and to enable cross-save between devices. A single PWG account can sign in on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android within the same regional server.
Players can also sign in using third-party authentication: Facebook, Google, Apple Sign-In, and PSN are all supported as login providers, with each provider creating a logically separate account when used as the initial sign-up method. Players who want a single unified identity should use PWG email-and-password as the primary login and link other providers as alternates.
Login Methods
Method | Available On | Notes |
|---|---|---|
PWG Email + Password | All platforms | The recommended primary login. Lets you keep one account across devices. |
PC, mobile | Third-party login. Account is separate from PWG email login unless linked. | |
Google Sign-In | PC, mobile (especially Android) | Third-party login. Account is separate from PWG email login unless linked. |
Apple Sign-In | iOS, Mac | Third-party login. Account is separate from PWG email login unless linked. |
PSN | PlayStation 5 only | PSN account links to a PWG account on first PS5 login. |
Account Separation Rules
This is the most common point of confusion at launch. Each third-party login provider creates a logically separate PWG account when used as the initial sign-up method. A player who logs in via Google on launch day and then logs in via Facebook on day two ends up with two separate accounts, each with its own progress, currency, and character roster.
PWG email and password is the most flexible primary login. It works on every platform and never collides with another login method.
Apple Sign-In on iOS creates a separate account from PWG email login, even if both use the same email address.
PSN login creates a separate account that is tied to the PSN identity. Switching to a different PSN profile on the same PS5 logs into a different PWG account.
Facebook and Google login similarly create separate accounts.
To consolidate progress on one account, use the same login method every time. The official recommendation is to set up the PWG email-and-password account before launch, log in with that on every device, and avoid mixing login providers.
Why This Matters at Launch
Pre-registration rewards, Hethereau Residents Guide web event rewards, and redeem code rewards are tied to a single PWG account. If you pre-registered with a PWG email account but then log in to the game with Apple Sign-In, the pre-registration rewards do not appear because the game is reading a different account.
This matters even more for cross-save. A player who starts on PC with PWG email login and then opens the iOS client with Apple Sign-In starts a fresh account on iOS, not a continuation of their PC progress. The fix is straightforward: use PWG email login on every device. The fix only works going forward, however; once two accounts have separate progress, there is no merge tool to combine them.
Linking and Unlinking
PWG accounts support linking secondary login providers as alternative ways to access the same account. Linking is done through the account settings menu in-game or through the PWG website. Once a third-party provider is linked, signing in with that provider lands the player on the same primary PWG account.
Linking is one-way: a third-party provider can be linked to one PWG account and cannot be linked to a second one without unlinking first.
Unlinking removes the third-party provider's access to the PWG account but does not delete the third-party account itself.
After unlinking, the previously linked third-party provider can be linked to a different PWG account.
Email and password are the canonical primary identity. Other linked providers are alternates.
Pre-Registration and Web Event Tie-In
Both the pre-registration milestones and the Hethereau Residents Guide web event require the same PWG account that the player uses on launch day. The two systems share the same account database, so creating a PWG account before pre-registering and using that account consistently is the simplest path to receiving every milestone reward at launch.
Players who already pre-registered with a different login provider (for example, registering on Google Play with a Google sign-in) should make sure to use the matching login method on launch day. Switching login providers at this stage requires going through the account linking process before the in-game mailbox can pick up the milestone rewards.
Tips
Set up a PWG email account before launch and use it as the primary login on every device.
Write down the recovery email and the password. Lost PWG accounts are recoverable through the support channel, but recovery requires verifiable contact information.
Enable two-factor authentication if available. Account safety matters more in service games where progress, gacha pity, and currency all live on the server.
Avoid mixing third-party logins. Picking one provider and sticking to it across devices prevents the most common account-separation problem.
If progress is missing after switching devices, check the account login provider before opening a support ticket. Most missing-progress reports trace back to the wrong login provider being used on the second device.
