Thorngar

Corrected the four-biome claim to describe Axiom rather than the kingdom, and added the biome types the developers have named
Thorngar is the kingdom at the center of Lords of the Fallen II. With the rest of the world consumed by darkness, it stands as humanity's final bastion, a sacred land that has so far been shielded by an ancient force.

Thorngar is the one kingdom that remains as the Eternal Night approaches. It is a vast, war-torn realm crumbling from within, dotted with moonlit citadels and time-ravaged temples, as the living world and the realm of the dead begin to bleed into one. The wider realm of Axiom now spans four distinct biomes, ranging from sky-scorched deserts to overgrown jungles, each with its own culture, architecture, factions and enemies. Meteor-stricken ruins lie among them, and each region holds its own enemies, hidden treasures, and boss encounters.
The developers frame that variety as history made visible: over the centuries some factions united and others splintered, and each region's architecture and inhabitants reflect what happened there. Regions are also matched to their own enemy factions, so the threats change as the player crosses the map. The team has said the world is fully connected with no loading screens, and that Axiom and Umbral are rendered at the same time rather than swapped between.
The fight to hold Thorngar is the throughline of the player's journey. It can be undertaken alone or alongside a fellow Lampbearer in online co-op. Within the kingdom lies the newly revealed region of Yisugen, among other places menaced by the Lords of Darkness.
