While a Zoi is working off-screen at a rabbit hole job, the game occasionally presents a workplace dilemma with a brief description and a set of response options. The player has 30 seconds to choose a response before the card expires. The v0.4.0 update (October 2025) added 144 new opportunity cards for careers in Dowon and Bliss Bay.

88 During a rabbit hole work shift, the game may display an opportunity card notification. The card:

1010 Describes a workplace situation or dilemma (for example, a coworker asking for help, a problem that needs solving, or a social conflict at the office).Presents two or more response options for the player to choose from.Gives the player 30 seconds to make a decision.Applies the consequences of the chosen response (which can be positive, neutral, or negative).

1616 Opportunity cards are exclusive to rabbit hole careers. These are jobs where the Zoi disappears into a taxi, travels off-screen to work, and returns when the shift ends. The player cannot see inside the workplace or directly control the Zoi during the shift. Opportunity cards are the primary way the player interacts with their Zoi's work experience during rabbit hole shifts.

When a Zoi faces trial after being arrested for a crime, the preparation phase uses opportunity cards where players answer questions. The results of trial preparation influence which cards appear during the actual trial. Choosing correct answers during the trial can help reduce the sentence. Hiring an elite lawyer improves the odds of favorable cards. This is a separate use of the card system from regular career opportunity cards.
