Kucingku (formerly Cahaya) is a tropical city inspired by the beach resorts of Indonesia and the coastal charm of Southeast Asia. The name translates to "My Cat" in both Indonesian and Malay. The city features palm-lined beaches, crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, and interactive cats everywhere.

Cat Island DLC

The Kucingku Cat Island DLC adds the city as a playable location. It was planned for August 2025 as Update #2 per the development roadmap, though the date is subject to change. The DLC is free during inZOI's Early Access period.

design and inspiration

The city draws from iconic coastal destinations in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Palm trees, expansive beaches, and the sea define its atmosphere. Cats are woven into the city's identity -- interacting with them is a core part of the local experience.

name change

Early demonstrations used the name Cahaya. The rebranding to Kucingku shifted the emphasis toward the city's feline motifs and its connection to Southeast Asian vacation culture.
