Overview
Suwen Tasks (溯闻任务, Sùwén Rènwù, literally 'Tracing-What-Was-Heard Tasks') are a launch-week side-quest category in Honor of Kings: World focused on cross-region story-flavored exploration. Where Kun-Tour tasks are localized box-garden lore vignettes inside a single sub-region, Suwen tasks tend to span multiple regions and resolve as multi-step investigations with cinematic pay-offs at the end.
Suwen sits in the 'recommended pre-30 activities' bucket alongside main-story quests and Wild-Region Elites, but unlike those two activities, Suwen tasks reward weapon and outfit appearances directly rather than progression materials. The reward currency for Suwen completion is cosmetic, which makes the task line attractive to players who care about visual customization without spending Jingpo on the cash shop.
How Suwen Tasks Differ from Kun-Tour
Property | Suwen (溯闻) | Kun-Tour (鲲游) |
|---|---|---|
Scope | Cross-region multi-step investigation | Single sub-region box-garden vignette |
Typical reward | Weapon appearance and outfit pieces | Huanling materials and lore drops |
Walkthrough length | Multi-step, often 30+ minutes | Compact, 5-15 minutes |
Map prerequisites | Frequently gated behind chapter unlocks | Usually accessible once the region is reachable |
Repeatability | One-time quest line per Suwen entry | Some entries are repeatable for spirit-binding |

Routing Tips
Map markers and step-by-step coordinates are placed for every Suwen entry, so players do not need to chase ambiguous clues; the chain reads more like a guided story walk than a free puzzle.
Suwen tasks usually wait until after a related main-story chapter has been cleared. 往昔龙吟 (Past Dragon Songs), for example, gates behind Chapter 7 completion.
Run Suwen during the gaps between main-story chapters. The cosmetic rewards do not require stamina, so they fit cleanly into a stamina-conservative daily routine.
If you are aiming at a specific cosmetic, check the launch-week walkthrough collections for the matching Suwen entry; route order matters less than route completion for cosmetic targets.
Investigation Sub-Type: 问迹 (Wenji) Puzzles
A related puzzle line called 问迹 (Wenji, 'Trace Investigation') overlaps with Suwen content in the launch build. Wenji entries are environmental puzzles attached to specific landmarks, and at least three are confirmed by launch-week walkthrough coverage:
赤隼馆之谜 (Red Hawk Hall Mystery) — rewards Jialuo's 岭上歌 (Mountain Top Song) weapon appearance
巨木篱之谜 (Giant Tree Fence Mystery) — environmental puzzle with appearance rewards (specific item not yet documented in launch-window text coverage)
天柱墟议事大厅 (Tianzhu Council Hall) — environmental puzzle in the Tianzhu sub-region; the launch coverage notes it contains 1 leisure point and 6 exploration mystery points

All quest names, region tags, and reward items above are taken from launch-week Chinese walkthrough coverage published April 10-26, 2026. Where a specific reward name has not been published in primary text coverage, the entry is omitted rather than guessed.
