Kit Redesign from MOBA
Per IT之家's combat mechanics feature, Master Lu Ban's Honor of Kings: World kit has been redesigned from his MOBA version. The MOBA version had a displacement-pull ability as its signature; the HoKW version replaces this with a mechanical-summon combat kit where Master Lu Ban pilots and commands smaller mechs (Lu Ban Number Five) and can transform into a larger mech (Lu Ban Number Eight). This redesign fits the action RPG format better than a static pull ability and gives him a more distinctive mechanical identity.
Combat Role
As a Support Resonance, Master Lu Ban provides utility through mechanical summons that extend the party's effective damage output. His 八号降临 (Number Eight Descent) transforms him into a shielded mech pilot form, giving him a secondary tanking capability in emergencies. He is one of the more mechanically distinct S0 Resonances because he essentially operates two entities: his pilot form and his summoned mechs.
