The Four Friends

The Four Friends are the core allied group that forms around the Nameless Hero over the course of the campaign. Each member was originally aligned with a different part of the Valley of Mines, which means the group as a whole covers all three camps and the mages' circles.

Members

• Diego. Old Camp shadow scout and the first friendly face the Hero meets inside the Barrier.

• Milten. The youngest Fire Mage of the Old Camp's magical circle.

• Gorn. Heavy-set warrior affiliated with the New Camp.

• Lester. Brotherhood novice who acts as the Swamp Camp's outer diplomat.

Why They Matter

The Four Friends aren't just plot-important allies: they're how the game's three-camp structure stays coherent. Each friend is the Hero's entry point into their home faction, and the late-game's coordinated push against the Sleeper only comes together because all three camps have someone the Hero can rely on.
