Old Mine

The Old Mine is the primary source of magical ore inside the Valley of Mines. It is controlled by the Old Camp and is the reason the camp holds the political position it does.

Operations

The mine is worked by diggers drafted from the Old Camp's outer ring. They are guarded by the camp's Templars and Shadows, both to keep them safe from the creatures that infest the tunnels and to prevent anyone from leaving the mine with smuggled ore.

In the Remake

Alkimia Interactive has publicly described the Old Mine as 'pretty much finished' in development updates, with NPCs still being finalised when that update was written. The mine is a major story location, and the Hero's pursuit of focus stones eventually leads him deep into its tunnels.
