Bloodflies

Bloodflies are large insect-like creatures in Gothic 1 Remake. THQ Nordic has formally introduced them via a dedicated pre-release article titled 'Bloodflies, not bloody flies', confirming their presence in the remake alongside the originally announced molerats and scavengers.

Habitat

Bloodflies prefer damp, humid environments. They gather in places with damp soil and wet air, which means the Swamp Camp region and the colony's bog edges are some of the most reliable places to find them.

Behaviour

Bloodflies feed on the blood of their victims. They attack aggressively in groups rather than singly, which turns what should be a minor nuisance into a serious threat if the Hero is caught in the open in swamp terrain.
