Rue is the enchanted ribbon guardian tied to Faye's sword in God of War Laufey. Rue is voiced by Perlina Lau.

Rue is tasked with keeping the devastatingly powerful blade from falling into the wrong hands. After Faye awakens in the Everywhen, she must earn Rue's trust to wield the sword, and the two fight together to escape imprisonment. Rue's ribbons stay attached to the weapon as they battle through the realm.

In combat, Rue doubles as an offensive tool, pulling enemies in toward Faye so she can land a finishing blow.
