The Everywhen is the setting of God of War Laufey. The reveal describes it as the birthplace and endpoint to which all magic returns, a transcendent realm above the ones the series has visited before, and the afterlife of the gods.
A Crossroads of Mythologies
The realm is billed as a vast, breathtaking and expansive world to explore, where gods from a host of mythologies vie for power across rich, ethereal landscapes. Alongside those gods and their creatures, the reveal notes that the Everywhen has beings native to it as well.

In the Everywhen, gods and creatures from different mythologies come together, and not always in harmonious coexistence. Alongside Norse figures, the reveal showed deities drawn from other traditions, including the war goddess Sekhmet and the war god Begtse. See Gods of the Everywhen for the figures confirmed so far.
Disrupted Magic
The realm is steeped in the oldest of magic, but its natural flow has been disrupted, and it is described as something that could be either a paradise or a prison. Because magic is amplified here, Faye finds her soul-related abilities far stronger than before.

Why the Gods Go There
Santa Monica Studio has tied the setting directly to a question the Norse saga left open. Odin was haunted by the prophecy of his own demise and pursued knowledge of something beyond the afterlives of mortals; the studio says Laufey explores the answer to what happens to the gods when they die.
