Framed Sekhmet's healing and disease association as mythology and dropped an unsourced comparison of Begtse to Kratos
Because the Everywhen is the afterlife of the gods, Faye crosses paths with deities drawn from many mythologies in God of War Laufey. The gods named at the reveal are listed below; more inhabit the realm.

God | Mythology | Status at Reveal |
|---|---|---|
Sekhmet | Egyptian | A war goddess who captures Faye at the start; one of the game's primary antagonists |
Begtse | Tibetan Buddhist and Mongolian | A fiery war god, also called Jamsaran; the first to face Faye in combat |
Thor | Norse | Referenced as one of the strongest gods of the Nine Realms |
Odin | Norse | Referenced in the realm's lore of prophecy and forbidden knowledge |
Sekhmet is a war goddess of Egyptian mythology, where she also presides over healing and disease. In the reveal she captures Faye and holds her prisoner, standing out as one of the game's primary antagonists.
Begtse, also known as Jamsaran, is the lord of war in Tibetan Buddhism and Mongolian mythology. He appears as a red-skinned deity wreathed in flame. The reveal shows him accompanied by attendants and clashing with Faye, making him the first god to test her abilities in the Everywhen.
Their full roles have not been detailed yet. The reveal emphasized that these gods do not always coexist peacefully, and that ruthless powers vie for control of the realm's overflowing magic.
Beyond the named gods, Santa Monica Studio has said the journey will pit Faye and her companions against a cast of gods and creatures from across mythology, as well as beings native to the Everywhen itself. No further names have been confirmed.
