Mikaela is a retired mercenary once known as the Redblade, working again in Dagsion to pay for her daughter's education. She fights close in and reads her opponents well.
Sergio was the king of Saramis before Theodora, and the father of Theodora and Dyan. He is killed by an assassin before the playable story begins, and the fallout from that killing opens Theodora's route.
