Mars is a character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and the god of war of the Dagdan Pantheon, titled the Bringer of War. He presides over the art of war, and his preferred way of learning anything about a person is to fight them.

Mars is a pillar of the Dagdan Pantheon and is credited with exceptional strength even by the standards of the gods. The Kingdom of Brezarant, in the south-west of the continent, is said to have been founded by one of his descendants, which is the clearest published case of a Dagdan god leaving a bloodline behind in a mortal kingdom.
He despises injustice and prefers to settle disputes by strength. His listed likes are the strong, the brave and rogues, and his stated interest is seeking strength. His method is consistent: he does not assess a fighter by reputation or by questioning, he assesses them by sparring.
If we sparred, I would know immediately. That is the fastest route to a warrior's heart.
Dietrich arrives in Dagda from across the sea, and the temples put him through an inspection before letting him keep competing in the Heroic Games. Solel asks Mars for his verdict, and Mars gives it plainly: this one has not a single wicked thought, a rare warrior, and there would be no problem letting him roam free. He allows that Dietrich's killing intent is intense, but calls it pure for a warrior rather than wicked.
The inspection is closed on that answer and Dietrich is cleared. Mars does not leave it there. He says his own blood boiled for the first time in a long while, and that one day he would like to duel Dietrich to the death somewhere with nothing holding either of them back.

The name is that of Mars, the Roman god of war.
As of September 2026, no official profile or roster listing announces Mars as a deployable unit, and no class, stats or growths have been published for him. None of those surfaces describes his relationship to the other gods of the pantheon, about which Bloodmark if any is tied to him, or about how the Brezarant bloodline descends from him.
