Pre-orders opened on June 9, 2026, the day of the announcement, ahead of the October 22, 2026 launch. Every bonus item is delivered in-game through the same postbox pickup, described at the bottom of this page.

Collector's Edition
The Collector's Edition is sold only through the SQUARE ENIX Store, in limited quantities. The packaged variants cover Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5; the Steam variant swaps the physical game for a Steam Digital Deluxe Edition key. The physical game ships alongside the Collector's Goods Box, not packed inside it, and a standalone Collector's Goods Box without the game is also sold.

Early Purchase Bonus: Squire Kickstart Pack
Buying the game within roughly the first two weeks after launch grants the Squire Kickstart Pack. Each storefront states its own cutoff, so check the listing you buy from rather than assuming a single global deadline. The Steam page grants the pack to purchases made by November 6, 2026, at 8:59 a.m. Pacific Time. The PlayStation Store frames its window as purchases made by November 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time.

Claiming Bonus Items
Every pack above is claimed the same way: after progressing past a certain point in the game, the items wait in the postbox in front of the inn in the Town of Mitra. The airship and chocobo appearance items are then switched on or off under the Items section of the main menu.
Retail Extras
Two Japanese retail bonuses have been announced for physical orders. The SQUARE ENIX e-STORE adds a Jumbo Cactuar 3D sticker, roughly 56 x 70 mm and limited in quantity. Physical orders through Amazon Japan come with an original sticker.
