The music of FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE is composed and arranged by Elements Garden, the composer group led by Noriyasu Agematsu. The group carries the same composer lineage as FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS, the mobile game this title rebuilds, which keeps the score's identity continuous between the two.
Composers
Square Enix's Japanese edition material credits five composers on the score, not one. Noriyasu Agematsu is joined by Seima Kondo, Ryota Tomaru, Junpei Fujita, and Hitoshi Fujima, and the credit line covers the soundtrack as a whole rather than splitting it by track. The Japanese credit is the first-party form; the English spellings used here are the romanizations that English-language coverage of the announcement carried, since Square Enix had published no official English credit list as of September 12, 2026.
Returning and New Music
The soundtrack brings back music from the mobile game and adds 33 newly recorded tracks on top of it. Boss themes lean on the returning side of that split: they reuse melodies that players of the original will recognize, reframed for the new game's battles. Soundtrack Release
A physical Original Soundtrack CD album collecting 120 tracks from the game ships inside the Collector's Edition's Collector's Goods Box. Square Enix has confirmed the CD will be sold as a standalone product at a later time, which makes the Collector's Edition the earliest way to own the album.
Square Enix's edition material now states the figure directly in both English and Japanese: the Collector's Edition includes a comprehensive soundtrack CD album with a total of 120 tracks from the game, and Japanese material adds that it ships ahead of general release. That makes the album the first published measure of the score's overall size.
The album is one of four physical items in the Collector's Edition goods box; the rest are covered on Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses. A standalone Japanese release is slated for October 28, 2026 in the same four-disc, 120-track shape, holding music carried over from the mobile game alongside the 33 pieces written new for this one. As of September 12, 2026 that date has not appeared on an official Square Enix product page, so treat it as provisional until one carries it. The 120-track figure itself is firm, printed in the Collector's Edition contents in both English and Japanese.
