Towering Beasts
June 2, 2026 at 09:19 PM
Updated deferral framing to reflect the live Early Access build
Towering beasts are the third enemy archetype named in the Creatures of Fatekeeper dev blog. They are framed as a category of their own: larger, slower, more dangerous per-encounter, and likely staged as set-piece fights rather than common patrols. Whether they overlap with bosses or function as elite mid-tier threats is implied but not yet confirmed.
High health. Big enemies generally are damage sponges that ask for sustained pressure.
Slow telegraphs. Larger creatures usually wind up bigger attacks, rewarding patient play.
Movement-shaping. Their size means players have to think about positioning around them, not just damage.
Two-handed weapons. Heavy commit weapons match the rhythm of slow but deadly enemies.
Magic burst. Multi-projectile and ricochet spells can layer damage during long telegraph windows.
Environmental kills. If terrain allows, telekinesis can sometimes shortcut a heavy enemy fight.
Whether towering beasts are identifiable as a single named species or as several distinct creatures is unrevealed. Specific named towering beasts can now be confirmed from the live Early Access build; this page will expand as those creatures are documented.
