Dimraeth enters Early Access on 15 September 2026. The developers stated the date in July 2026 with "We’ll start off with mentioning the date for Dimraeth’s Early Access Release: September 15th!", and repeated it two weeks later as "mark your calendars for September the 15th!". Regional release times were published shortly before launch.
One note on the date: the storefront’s own date field reads one day earlier than the developers’ stated date. That is a storefront display artefact rather than a second date, and the developers’ 15 September governs everywhere on this wiki.
Platforms
Platform | Status |
|---|---|
PC | Confirmed. The only platform at Early Access. |
Steam Deck | Full support confirmed. Controller support and Steam Deck support were the focus of the technical playtest held in early 2026. |
Consoles | No confirmed plans. The developers’ own answer is "At this time, we don’t have confirmed plans for console releases." |
As of 2026-09-12 there is no announced console version, no announced handheld version other than Steam Deck, and no announced storefront other than Steam.
Price
As of 2026-09-12 no price has been published on any first-party surface, and the store page carries no price entry. The developers have not stated whether the Early Access price will change at 1.0.
Languages
Eight languages are supported at Early Access. Two of them, Simplified Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese, were already in the 2026 demo; the other six are new for launch.
Language | Status at Early Access |
|---|---|
English | Supported |
Simplified Chinese | Continued from the demo |
Portuguese (Brazil) | Continued from the demo |
German | New at Early Access |
Korean | New at Early Access |
Spanish (Latin America) | New at Early Access |
Russian | New at Early Access |
Japanese | New at Early Access |
Localisation was a stated goal of the technical playtest held from 30 January to 2 February 2026, which tested Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese alongside controller and Steam Deck support.
What Arrives with Early Access
The developers published a list of what the Early Access build adds over the demo. Two items on that list need a caveat, and both are noted underneath.
Addition | Detail |
|---|---|
New race: the Elf | See Races. The Elf existed in the game in 2023 before being cut from the demo build, so "new" here means new to players rather than newly created. |
New class: the Shadow | See Classes. |
Two new regions | The expanded Wildwood Forest and the Goblin Caves. See Regions and Locations. |
World bosses | Described as major bosses for each region. No individual boss has been named. |
9 unique pets | Each with different abilities. See Pets. |
Male and female options for every race | Part of a wider character customisation improvement. See Character Creation. |
Furniture, equipment sets and crafting stations | See Base Building and Crafting. |
More base building options | See Base Building. |
New quests and NPCs | See Quests and Deeds and Characters. |
New elites and new dungeons | No individual dungeon has been named. |
Difficulty levels | Difficulty options are not new to the game: Easy, Moderate and Hard were built in July 2023 and Moderate became the default in April 2025. The Early Access listing most likely refers to a revision or to their first wide public exposure. |
Skill tree overhaul | The skill tree has been rebuilt several times across development. See Progression and Leveling. |
Improved character customisation | Colour customisation for hair, skin and clothing across all races. Explicitly not a full 3D morphing system. |
Quality of life changes | Unspecified. |
The level cap at Early Access is 25, and the developers say it "will be increased with each new act". The demo and playtest builds used a different cap.
For scale, the developers estimated in June 2026 that the Early Access build would contain around four times what players saw in the demo.
Input Support
Three input schemes are supported: keyboard and mouse, gamepad, and a WASD plus mouse hybrid. WASD movement was built across two passes in January and February 2025, and full controller support was the headline goal of the technical playtest in early 2026.
System Requirements
The developers describe the minimum specification as running on most modern laptops and desktops.

Content Ratings
The ratings shown on the store page are storefront self-ratings, supplied by the developer through the storefront’s own questionnaire. They are not decisions by any ratings board, and this page does not present them as such. No board classification for Dimraeth has been published as of 2026-09-12.
Self-rating | Descriptors |
|---|---|
14 | Violence (Brazilian self-rating) |
12 | Violence (German self-rating) |
18 | Online interaction, violence (Indonesian self-rating) |
None of the three carries a ban flag on the storefront.
After Early Access
The developers promised a roadmap closer to release, and the store page now carries a roadmap section. The stated shape of the game after Early Access is a rising level cap tied to new acts, and a 1.0 roster the developers have described as at least eight races and six classes, producing at least 48 archetypes. As of 2026-09-12 the remaining races and classes in that 1.0 target have not been named, and no 1.0 date has been given.
One system is explicitly not in the build at launch: equipment crafting. The developers described it in January 2026 as planned for later in Early Access as an endgame min-maxing activity, with monster drops remaining the primary loot path for the majority of the game. See Crafting.
