Walkthrough
Stage | Route |
|---|---|
Optional hunt | Lacra offers to hunt a shepherd on the way. Accept or convince her to continue; both progress. Agreeing and giving a supportive response adds a personal exchange. |
Climb | Follow the chimes, defeat the wolves, Pack Leader and Ravenous Bear, and continue upward to the guards. |
Peaceful test | Calm Lacra, say nobody needs to die and keep asking for a peaceful resolution. When stones are thrown, do nothing twice, then identify it as a test and encourage her to continue. |
Duel | Choose I don't think so, One step further and you'll regret it, then Deal. Let's duel. Winning grants entry without fighting the entire village. |
Hostile route | Escalating to a settlement fight removes its merchants and closes A Mother's Plea. |
Find Isbrand's lead | On the peaceful or duel route, follow the Elder into the village. She explains that Brencis defeated Isbrand and imprisoned him in nearby caves about two years earlier. |
The peaceful test preserves the village and its later content. Endure the stone-throwing rather than retaliating if using that route. Learning Isbrand's location leads into Hive and Seek; the violent route can still continue Lacra's search but loses the village services.
