Overview
Lacra is one of the named characters Coen encounters in Vale Sangora. She is defined by a personal mission and goal of her own, a single objective that takes precedence over anything else in her life. That focus is not without cost: her drive often puts her at odds with the people around her, including those who might otherwise be her allies.
Role in Coen's Story
Like Anca and Marat, Lacra is not a simple companion or sidekick. She has her own motivations, her own story, and her own impact on Coen's journey. The named characters Coen meets along the way are designed to shape the world around him and make it feel alive, reactive, and deeply connected, rather than simply react to his choices. How Lacra's path crosses with Coen's, whether their goals align or collide, and what becomes of her by the end of his thirty-day race against Brencis are tied to the decisions the player makes within the narrative sandbox.
Appearances
Lacra was first teased in the January 2026 launch year trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, appearing alongside Anca before either character had been named on stream. She received her first proper characterization during the Road to Launch Event on April 28, 2026, where the development team confirmed her name, framed her as a figure with her own mission and personal goal, and noted that this single-mindedness frequently sets her at odds with others. The specifics of her mission, her allegiances, and her relationship to the rest of the cast were intentionally left for players to uncover in the full game.
