The Blood of Dawnwalker was officially revealed on January 13-14, 2025 with a cinematic trailer. The trailer showed the game's setting, the protagonist Coen, and the vampire-ruled valley of Vale Sangora. It was developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The first gameplay trailer debuted at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8, 2025. It confirmed a 2026 release window and showed combat, the day/night gameplay split, and more of Vale Sangora's environments.
