The Natural Collector trophy and achievement is awarded for completing all 12 Life Challenges in Crimson Desert. One of those challenges requires the player to recruit 30 unique pets, which is the central completionist hook for the trophy. Patch 1.04.00 expanded the tameable roster significantly through bird pets and additional cat varieties, so the 30-pet target is materially easier to clear after the patch than at launch.

How to Earn It
Natural Collector is the cap on the Life Challenges track. Twelve separate Life Challenges have to be completed before the trophy / achievement triggers. The most attention-grabbing of those is the 30-pet recruitment challenge:
Find a pet candidate (cat, dog, bird, or special creature like the Abyss Heuklang).
Build trust by petting the same animal repeatedly (and feeding birds via the Sotdae of Bond) until trust reaches 100.
Confirm the bond and add the animal to the registered pet roster.
Repeat with 30 unique species to clear the Life Challenge.

Patch 1.04 Impact
Before Patch 1.04.00, the tameable pet roster was around 18 species, so reaching 30 unique pets required players to grind some species multiple times. After the patch the roster expanded to roughly 60 tameable species: birds were added as a full pet category with the Sotdae of Bond feeder, five additional cat varieties were added, and the Abyss Heuklang was reclassified as a normal tameable pet rather than a Mysterious Cabin special creature. The 30-pet target is therefore much easier to clear post-1.04.
