Patch 1.03.00 is a major Crimson Desert content update released by Pearl Abyss on April 9, 2026, with a revision applied on April 11, 2026. It rolled out across all supported platforms (Steam for PC and Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Xbox on PC, Epic Games Store, and Mac App Store). The update introduces the Weapon Display option, a Minimum Font Size accessibility setting, a Fast Forward Speed option for dialogue, new skills for Damiane, Oongka, and Kliff, quality-of-life improvements for camp management, and broad bug fixes across exploration, combat, and UI.

A new setting under Others > Language & Gameplay lets players decide how weapons appear on the character's back and at the side.

Added under Others > Accessibility. Raising the minimum font size improves legibility across menus and dialogue. The setting requires a game restart to take effect.
Added under Others > Language & Gameplay. Players can set the fast-forward speed for standard dialogue scenes up to 4x. Standard dialogue scenes also now play without black letterbox bars while fast-forwarding.
A new cluster of camera accessibility settings was added under Others > Accessibility.

The Abyss Nexus teleport can now be used while mounted, falling, swimming, or climbing walls. The icon is also easier to notice on the map.
Hard lock-on against bosses is now maintained from longer distances.
Lock-on was removed from a handful of very large bosses where it hurt camera readability more than it helped.
The patch extends Damiane and Oongka with abilities equivalent to Kliff's open-world utility skills, and adds a new Kliff follow-up ability for aerial combat.

Greymane Camp: improved NPC placement and general camp usability.

Pearl Abyss maintains a dedicated Known Issues notice that tracks problems carried over from 1.03.00. A follow-up hotfix, Patch 1.03.01, was released on April 12 to address projectiles ricocheting on Nature's Snare, a Nature's Snare input issue on Xbox wireless controllers, and a Private Storage loot bug after location liberation.
