Livestock Vendors are NPCs added in Patch 1.04.00 who sell farm animals for the Greymane Camp ranch and pasture systems. They were introduced because the launch version of the camp economy required players to capture or breed every animal manually, which limited how quickly the ranch could be populated and how reliably herd losses could be replaced.

Where to Find Them

The Pearl Abyss patch notes confirm livestock vendors were placed across Pywel as part of the 1.04.00 world-additions pass, but the notes do not enumerate specific vendor coordinates. Exact spawn locations are still being mapped by the community since the patch landed, so the closest livestock vendor depends on which camp expansion the player has reached and which routes have been explored.

Until per-vendor mapping is complete, plan around the broad pattern: vendors appear in the rural zones around major settlements rather than inside city markets. Watch for new merchant icons on the world map after fast-traveling between regions, and check the Vendor Directory for the latest community-confirmed positions.

How They Plug Into the Farm

Animals purchased from a livestock vendor are delivered to the camp ranch in the same way captured fauna are; the player does not need to lead the animal home on foot. Once the animal is in the ranch it follows the existing breeding, feeding, and harvesting loop. The livestock capacity upgrades from camp expansion still apply (small/medium/large livestock capacity increase items), so the new vendors do not change ranch size, only how the ranch is filled.
