Heart of the Saint is a hidden waterfall cave in Crimson Desert, tucked behind the Three Saints' Falls in the Hernand region. The cave is notable for containing one of the largest concentrations of Silver Ore in the entire game, making it an important early-game resource location for players looking to stockpile crafting materials and earn money. Unlike many other waterfall caves that hold unique Abyss loot or special treasure chests, Heart of the Saint focuses purely on raw mineral wealth.

The cave's name and its connection to the Three Saints' Falls hint at a deeper lore connection to the religious and historical traditions of Pywel. The Three Saints themselves are revered figures in the region's history, and the falls bearing their name serve as a quiet landmark north of Hernand town.
Heart of the Saint is located directly north of Hernand town, behind the Three Saints' Falls waterfall. The falls sit along one of the rivers flowing through the Hernand region and can be spotted from a distance thanks to the rushing water cascading down the rock face. A small pile of balanced rocks (known as cairns) near the base of the waterfall marks the area as a point of interest, which is the universal indicator throughout Pywel that a secret waterfall cave lies behind the water.
To reach the falls, head north from Hernand's main settlement. The route is straightforward and does not require any special mounts or advanced traversal abilities. The area is accessible relatively early in the game, making it a valuable stop during the opening chapters of the main story.
Entering the Heart of the Saint cave requires the Stab skill, which is one of the first combat abilities players learn. You need at least Level 1 of the Stab skill to use this technique at waterfalls. The process works as follows:
Approach the Three Saints' Falls and look for the rock ledge that physically touches the waterfall. You need to be standing on this specific rock for the technique to work.
Face the waterfall directly and perform a Stab attack (LSHIFT + RMB on PC, RB + Y on Xbox, R1 + Triangle on PlayStation). This drives your weapon through the water and temporarily weakens the flow.
Walk through the parted waterfall quickly before the water resumes its full force. You will find yourself in a small cave chamber behind the falls.
Inside the initial chamber, look for a large breakable rock wall. Use Force Palm to shatter the boulder and open the path to the deeper section of the cave where the silver ore deposits are located.

Force Palm is learned automatically during Chapter 1 of the main story, so both abilities needed to access the cave are available early in the game. If you have not yet acquired Force Palm, you will be unable to break through the rock wall and reach the ore deposits.
Once past the rock wall, the inner chamber of Heart of the Saint contains a large cluster of Silver Ore veins. A single visit yields approximately 25 to 30 Silver Ore, which is the largest single concentration of Silver Ore found at any location in the game. This makes the cave the most efficient spot for farming Silver Ore during the early and mid stages of a playthrough.
To mine the ore, you can use either Force Palm or a Pickaxe. The Pickaxe is the standard gathering tool for mining and can be obtained through two methods:
Rhett's Request (commission): Talk to Rhett in Hernand during the early game and complete his commission. He will reward you with a Pickaxe.
Provisioner's Shop: If you missed or skipped Rhett's Request, you can purchase a Pickaxe from the Provisioner's Shop in Hernand town.

The ore deposits respawn after a period of time, so Heart of the Saint is a location worth revisiting for repeated farming runs. Silver Ore is used in various crafting recipes and can also be sold for a solid profit, making regular trips to this cave a reliable source of income throughout the game.
Most waterfall caves scattered across Pywel contain unique loot, rare treasure chests, or special encounters. Heart of the Saint breaks this pattern by focusing entirely on Silver Ore as its reward. There are no special chests, unique weapons, or hidden boss encounters inside this particular cave.
For players specifically hunting Abyss Cressets, unique armor pieces, or rare artifacts, the other waterfall caves in the game will be more rewarding. However, for anyone focused on resource gathering, crafting material stockpiling, or earning money through ore sales, Heart of the Saint is one of the best locations available.
Visit early and often. The cave is accessible as soon as you have the Stab skill and Force Palm, both of which are available in Chapter 1.
Bring a Pickaxe for faster mining. While Force Palm works on ore veins, the Pickaxe is more efficient for gathering large quantities.
Combine trips to Heart of the Saint with other exploration activities in the Hernand region to make the most of your travel time.
Sell excess Silver Ore at shops in Hernand for a steady income stream during the early game.
Keep an eye out for cairn stones (small piles of balanced rocks) near other waterfalls across Pywel. These markers indicate additional waterfall caves that may contain more valuable loot.
