Gourmet III is a standard passive Abyss Core in Crimson Desert. This means that any meal or food item consumed while this core is active will provide stronger buffs, longer durations, or both, depending on the specific food's scaling.

Crimson Desert's cooking and food system provides meaningful combat buffs ranging from attack boosts to stamina regeneration to elemental resistance. With Gourmet III equipped, even lower-quality meals can provide significant bonuses, making it a cost-effective choice for players who cook regularly.

Purchased from Witch merchants. Also found in supply chests near cooking stations and tavern areas.

Standard Abyss Cores like Gourmet III can be acquired from Witches who serve as merchants at various camps and settlements across the world. Check with any Witch merchant when you visit a new area, as their inventory may include this core.

Usage and Strategy

Socket Gourmet III into any compatible equipment piece (Armor) to gain its Food Effect Lv +3 bonus. The effect is always active as long as the core remains socketed and the equipment is worn.

Tips

• Gourmet III is at its best when combined with high-quality meals that already provide strong base effects. The +3 level boost pushes good food into excellent territory.

• If you rely on cooking for boss preparation, keeping Gourmet III socketed into one armor piece can be more efficient than carrying extra ingredients.
