Overview

Brianto is one of the five standard horse breeds in Crimson Desert. According to its in-game Knowledge entry, it is described as "a horse breed with a sleek, well-built body, prized as a racehorse." Though highly wary, it becomes loyal to its owner once tamed, and is often traded at a relatively high price.

Brianto features the highest base Movement Speed (2) among standard breeds but has the lowest Health (300) and Stamina (150) in the entire standard horse pool. Its signature skills, Instant Acceleration and Consecutive Instant Acceleration, provide exceptional speed bursts during drifts that no other standard breed can match. These make Brianto one of the fastest horses in short sprints, at the cost of durability.

Brianto serves as Damiane's default mount and becomes available to players once they unlock her in Chapter 3.

Base Stats

Brianto's Movement Speed of 2 is the highest among standard breeds at base level, reflecting its racing pedigree. Its low Health of 300 and Stamina of 150 are tied with Numont for lowest Stamina in the game. This means Brianto can be incapacitated during mounted combat more easily than sturdier breeds.

Level Progression

At Level 5, Brianto reaches a Movement Speed of 4, the highest among all standard breeds. Combined with its unique acceleration skills, this makes it the fastest standard horse for straight-line travel.

Skills by Level

Brianto's signature skills are Instant Acceleration and Consecutive Instant Acceleration, both unlocked at Trust Level 5. These are unique to Brianto among standard breeds and provide massive speed boosts during drifts.

How to Obtain

Default Mount (Damiane)

Brianto is automatically unlocked as Damiane's horse when you unlock her as a playable character in Chapter 3. This is the earliest guaranteed method to get a Brianto.

Wild Taming

Wild Brianto horses can be found roaming across Pywel. Approach from behind and complete the taming minigame. Keep the camera behind the horse and hold back on the stick until the taming bar fills.

Stable Purchase

Stable merchants in various towns sell Brianto horses for silver. More convenient than taming but also more expensive.

Theft

Brianto horses can be stolen from bandits and NPCs. Equip a mask first. Stealing increases your bounty.

Comparison with Other Breeds

Leveling Your Brianto

Horses gain Trust levels through three methods, listed from fastest to slowest:

• Feeding: Give your horse food items. This is the quickest method for gaining Trust experience. Hay, sugar beets, oats, apples, and carrots all work. Feed while riding for convenience.

• Caressing: Target your horse and press R to pet or caress it. This grants free experience without spending any items or resources, though it has a daily cap.

• Riding: Simply riding your horse generates passive experience over time. This is the slowest method but accumulates naturally during regular gameplay.

You can also invest in the Abyss Tree's mount nodes to improve Stamina and other stats beyond what equipment provides. This is especially valuable for Brianto, whose low base Stamina benefits the most from external boosts.

Like all horse breeds, Brianto can be outfitted with horse items at stables. Equipment slots include:

Equipping the right combination of gear can offset Brianto's lower base health and stamina. Prioritize saddles for stamina and horseshoes for even more speed. A well-equipped Brianto with a quality saddle significantly extends its Sprint duration.

Horse Challenges

Brianto is one of the four tamable breeds required for the Harmonious Hooves challenge (#7). Ride each of the four tamable breeds (Brianto, Priden, Elantrima, and Numont) for over 100 meters each.

Tips

• Use Instant Acceleration during drifts for massive speed bursts. Follow it with Consecutive Instant Acceleration for a second boost. Mastering this combo is essential for getting the most out of Brianto.

• Feed your Brianto regularly to level it up faster. Feeding is significantly quicker than passive riding experience. Caress daily for free bonus experience.

• Brianto's low base health (300) means it can be incapacitated in combat more easily. Consider switching to a sturdier mount like Elantrima or Numont for mounted combat.

• If Damiane is your preferred character, Brianto is a natural fit since it comes automatically with her.

• Equip a saddle to boost Brianto's low stamina. This is especially important for extended Sprint sessions.

• Brianto is outclassed by the legendary Royler in speed, stamina, and every other stat. Once you obtain Royler, it replaces Brianto as the top speed mount.

• Invest in the Abyss Tree's mount nodes for additional stat boosts that stack with horse equipment.

• Quick Start (Level 5) helps Brianto reach top speed faster from a standstill, complementing its already high base Movement Speed.
