BREAK build examples
These examples emphasize reliable BREAK and EP recovery. Choose the personality and attack pair for the form you are raising; the priority values are a five-point guide rather than material costs.
Form | BREAK | REGEN | HP | ATK | P.DEF | M.DEF | Personality |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Basic | 5 | 5 | 3 | 1 | 2 | 2 | ESTJ |
Mudflat | 5 | 4 | 3 | 1 | 2 | 2 | ESFP |
Form | Combat skill 1 | Combat skill 2 | Ultimate | Held item example |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Basic | Charged Blow | Leaf Slash | Quake Impact | Gargantuan Horn |
Mudflat | Charged Blow | The Luminus Gust | Quake Impact | Gargantuan Horn |
Begin with support effects, then keep Leaf Slash or The Luminus Gust hitting while tunneling. Stealth gains Momentum twice as quickly underground; reach its six-stack trigger to gain 30% BREAK efficiency for 20 seconds. Tunnel protects against ranged attacks, and Pound attacks can still launch Shrubclaw.
Move during Charged Blow's charge so both swings line up, then pass the BREAK opening to the damage dealer. Quake Impact provides a wide-area ultimate when available. Recover EP between attempts rather than charging without the resources to finish the sequence.
The Charged Blow contract shortens its charge and adds a one-second stun. Earth Skills and Core Skill Contracts separate the move's charge stages from its base Power. Held Items covers Gargantuan Horn's BREAK growth and its Acquired Potential threshold.
