Add form-specific evolution, encounter routes, practical builds, skill timing and Homeland work.
Ignitis is No. 041 in the Aniimo index, a Dark creature that fights in the DPS role. They sharpen their blades and wait for the perfect moment, hiding in the shadows as they toy with their prey. As cold-blooded assassins, they seek to end every fight in a single strike.

Wild Aniimo are taken with Aniipods, and once caught this one can be raised, sent into battle, kept at The Homeland, or traded to another player. It belongs to the Wisptis line, which runs to 3 entries in total, and 3 alternate Forms have been published for it.

These are base figures and balance changes can move them.

Ignitis is listed in 1 habitat. Which creatures actually appear also depends on weather, time of day, and local phenomena, so a listed habitat is where to look rather than a guarantee.

Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder.
Trait | Effect |
|---|---|
Battle Fervor | Defeating a target grants 1 stack of Battlelust, increasing damage by 25% for 20s. Stacks up to 2 times. |
The index grades three traversal capabilities, Climb, Fly and Swim, from level 1 to level 3. A Pathfinder inherits them by Twining with the creature, so Ignitis is worth keeping for how it gets you across the map as well as for what it does in a fight.
Capability | Grade |
|---|---|
Fly | Level 2 |
Mobility abilities are named actions used while Twined, separate from combat skills and traversal grades.

Cloak | Enter Cloak state. |
The table lists Ignitis's five available combat moves across forms and capture unlocks, plus Dimension Rupture and its basic attack. Choose two combat skills for the build. Power is the published damage figure and Cost is the resource required.
Skill | Type | Power | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Dark Soul | Combat | 50 | 20 | Transports itself to a target and attacks. If the target has less than 50% HP left, for each 1% HP lost, increases the Aniimo's damage by 1%. Defeating a target with this skill grants a time-limited free recast. |
Fire Dash | Combat | 15 | 10 | Tackles the target with the power of flame. After casting the skill, gains [Super Armor] for 5s. |
Dark Dash | Combat | 25 | 10 | Tackles the target with the power of shadows, increasing basic attack damage by 40% for 10s after casting. |
Scythe Dance | Combat | 60 | 20 | Spins to slash, dealing Dark damage 3 times to all nearby targets. Each hit increases own damage by 4%, up to 32%, for 10s. |
Forest Whirl | Combat | 60 | 20 | Spins to slash, dealing Grass damage 3 times to all nearby targets. Each hit increases own damage by 4%, up to 32%, for 10s. |
ATK | Innate | 6 | 0 | Wields dark power to attack targets at close range. |
Dimension Rupture | Innate | 170 | 0 | Cleaves through space, dealing heavy Physical damage. |
Starting form | Result | Level | Materials | Additional requirement |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Basic Wisptis | Basic Ignitis | 29 | 3 Night Stones | Using Basic Wisptis, defeat three Basic Wisptis consecutively. |
Forest Wisptis | Forest Ignitis | 29 | 3 Night Stones | Using Forest Wisptis, defeat three Forest Wisptis consecutively, then evolve in The Mistwoods or Blitzwood. |
Highland Wisptis | Highland Ignitis | 29 | 3 Night Stones | Using Highland Wisptis, defeat three Highland Wisptis consecutively, then evolve in Zephyrus Landbridge. |
Form | Area | Route |
|---|---|---|
Basic | Berylline Vale | Nighttime Alpha encounter in the southern area; Wild Surge chance is a separate route. |
Forest | The Mistwoods | Twine as Basic Ignitis and defeat six Forest Wisptis to trigger a wild encounter. |
Highland | Zephyrus Landbridge / Blitzwood | Twine as Basic Ignitis and defeat six Highland Wisptis to trigger a wild encounter. |
Prismana | Berylline Vale | During Prismana Flow, search southeast of the regional Bloom. |
The regional wild-encounter trigger uses six matching Wisptis defeated while Twined as Basic Ignitis. Keep that trigger separate from the three consecutive defeats required by the evolution recipes.
When Prismana Flow produces Ignitis, its location is marked automatically on the map. After catching it, Berylline Vale's Prismatic Energy returns to Empty.
Form / area | Search cue |
|---|---|
Basic: Berylline Vale | At night, follow the path through the southern woods. |
Forest: The Mistwoods | After the six-Wisptis trigger, check the northwestern tree line near the forested ridge. |
Highland: Zephyrus Landbridge | After the six-Wisptis trigger, search the western ridge and ground north of the hilltop ponds. |
Highland: Blitzwood | After the six-Wisptis trigger, search the eastern grassland and path east of the long lakes. |
Prismana: Berylline Vale | During Prismana Flow, use the map pin southeast of the Bloom near the woodland edge. |

Start with the selected Ignitis form, Rookey and Fragrancier, then choose a fourth member for EP recovery or control. Somniwing is a recovery alternative. Prismana Turbo is another support choice when the encounter does not need a dedicated breaker, while Dreaple can support a more skill-focused Dark setup.
Apply the party support and recovery effects, then use the breaker to create an opening.
Land Scythe Dance or Forest Whirl to build their damage bonus. Each hit adds 4%, up to 32%, for 10 seconds; keep track of landed hits rather than assuming two casts always fill the bonus.
Use basic attacks and Dimension Rupture during the opening. If selected, Dark Dash adds 40% basic-attack damage for 10 seconds after its cast.
Use Dark Soul on a target below half HP. A killing blow opens its temporary free recast, while Battle Fervor supplies a separate damage bonus from defeating targets.
Return to recovery before repeating the window.
The Dark Soul held-item contract expands its attack area and raises the low-HP activation threshold to 70%. Compare that upgraded effect with the base skill rather than changing the base threshold.
