Where To Find It
The creature index leaves Basic Dreaple's habitat field blank. Nimbi's evolution provides one route, while the Nimbus Fields encounter below provides another.
Trait
Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder.
Trait | Effect |
|---|---|
Counting Sheep | Every 10s, the next skill applies 1 stack of [Drowsiness] to the target. At 3 stacks, the target enters [Nightmare] for 20s. Targets in [Nightmare] have their Dark Resistance reduced by 27% and cannot move or cast skills for 3s. Taking damage removes the control effect. |
Traversal
The index grades three traversal capabilities, Climb, Fly and Swim, from level 1 to level 3. A Pathfinder inherits them by Twining with the creature, so Dreaple is worth keeping for how it gets you across the map as well as for what it does in a fight.
Capability | Grade |
|---|---|
Fly | Level 2 |
Skills
The table lists Dreaple's three available combat moves and its innate ultimate and basic attack. Choose two combat skills for the build; Power and Cost retain the listed skill values.
Skill | Type | Power | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Nimbi Attack | Combat | 30 | 20 | Summons a Nimbi that follows the caster, damaging targets in its path and applying 1 stack of [Drowsiness]. When hitting the caster, the Nimbi charges back toward the target. |
Nightmare Devourer | Combat | 0 | 20 | Restores 5% HP to this Aniimo and nearby allies, then absorbs [Nightmare] from nearby targets. Each absorbed [Nightmare] status increases healing by 2%, up to 3 stacks. |
Hypnotic Cloud Shot | Combat | 45 | 20 | Fires a Hypnotic Cloud Shot at the target. After it explodes, it deals damage to targets in the area and applies 1 stack of Drowsiness. |
ATK | Innate | 6 | 0 | Wields dark power to attack targets from a distance. |
Dream Blast | Innate | 84 | 0 | Deals damage to targets in range and applies 2 stacks of [Drowsiness]. Increases the whole team’s Dark damage by 20% for 30s. |
Dreaple evolution and encounter route
From | Evolution | Level | Additional conditions | Materials |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Dreaple | 21 | Learn Dreamsong; rest from night to day with Nimbi active | 3 × Night Stone |
For a wild encounter, first complete the Sleeping Flock Lumin Amber activity west of Sanctum: First Spark. During daytime, Twine with Nimbi and nap at the tree with unusual leaves.
After that activity, capture 30 members of the Emberpup family to trigger a Dreaple near the collapsed entrance of the central Nimbus Fields ruins. Complete a new set of 30 captures for the next encounter; unused capture counts do not stack toward several spawns. The first encounter has a notification, while later encounters require checking the site.
Dark support build
Nimbi Attack and Hypnotic Cloud Shot form a two-skill example, with Dream Blast as the ultimate. Prioritize Attack, then BREAK and REGEN; HP and both defenses follow. ESTJ is one personality example, and Ferocious Fang is an item option.
Build | Attack | BREAK | REGEN | HP | P.DEF / M.DEF |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Dark support | 5 | 4 | 3 | 1 | 1 / 1 |
Send out Nimbi Attack and switch while the projectile remains active. Its outgoing and returning paths help apply Drowsiness; use Hypnotic Cloud Shot to add another stack when needed. Three stacks lead to Nightmare, which makes the target more vulnerable to Dark damage.
The contract makes Nimbi Attack's return follow the target. Use Nightmare Devourer when healing is needed, while accounting for the Nightmare status it absorbs. Dream Blast adds two Drowsiness stacks and a team Dark-damage buff; compare its shared ultimate cost with the planned attacker and breaker turns.
