Holo-Battle Sim is a solo combat mode with Grass, Water, and Fire training routes. Select a route, difficulty, and Training Style before entering.
Runs alternate battles with event choices. Gizmos provide effects associated with a Training Style; Core Gizmos supply further upgrades. Training Coins buy upgrades at rest-event shops.
Collecting three Gizmos from the chosen Training Style unlocks its Alpha Transformation. Further sets of three provide upgrade choices. Rest events allow recovery or revival before continuing.
The seven Training Styles are Energy, Surge, Defense, Vitality, Ironclad, Valor, and Wealth. Check their effects against the team you have brought.
First-clear rewards and weekly Training Incentives are separate. Clearing the highest difficulty also makes the lower-difficulty incentives claimable.
Quick Training Pass
Quick Training Pass is an Epic exchange resource from the Holo-Shop that enables Quick Training in Holo-Battle Sim. Check the Quick Training confirmation for eligible stages and its required pass count before starting.
Entry and difficulty
Holo-Battle Sim opens at character level 50 and Wayfarer II. Choose Grass, Water or Fire Training, then select its difficulty and Training Style. The selected style makes its associated Gizmos more likely during the run. Style options are randomized and refresh after a completed run.
Difficulty | Floors |
|---|---|
Easy | 10 |
Normal | 10 |
Hard | 16 |
Challenge | 16 |
Choose a Training Style
Style | What its upgrades emphasize |
|---|---|
Energy | Skill damage, BREAK and EP recovery. |
Surge | Ultimate damage and Ultimate recovery. |
Defense | Effects that operate while shielded. |
Vitality | Healing-triggered effects that scale with HP restored. |
Ironclad | Maximum HP and defensive attributes. |
Valor | Damage benefits when HP is missing. |
Wealth | Training Coins and effects tied to those coins. |
Take Gizmos that support the chosen style when their effect suits the party. A Core can occasionally replace a normal reward option; both Gizmos and Cores can also appear in Rest shops. Three matching Gizmos open the run's Alpha Transformation, and each further set of three offers another upgrade. These upgrades belong to the run.

The Fire-route example uses Water attacks and puddles around Sherro, with Panpanta creating BREAK openings and Erlath supporting recovery. Keep each creature's form and learned-skill requirements in view.
