Finding the two forms
Form | Acquisition route |
|---|---|
Basic | Search Russet Highlands or evolve a Basic Jawling at level 38. |
Mountain | Search north of the stone-pillar forest in Russet Highlands, at any time of day, or evolve Mountain Jawling at level 38. The illustrated search area lies on the northwestern coastal peninsula. |
Choosing the Basic branch
Starting Aniimo | Result | Level | Materials | Unlock and conditions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Basic Helmwhelp | Basic Helgon | 48 | 3 Gust Stones | Open 30 world chests cumulatively. |
Basic Helmwhelp | 48 | 3 Blaze Stones | Defeat Omega Infergon and use a Helmwhelp with Perfect Potential. |
For the Infergon route, begin the Warrior quest in Russet Highlands with Sorora, the Mysterious Painter on the western side of the region. A Perfect Jawling can first evolve into Helmwhelp without losing its Potential.
The Mountain line leads toward Mountain Helgon. Check the Evolution menu for the required starting stage before committing resources to its final branch.
Move choices and Homeland work
Form | Native combat choices | Separate innate attack | Homeland work |
|---|---|---|---|
Basic | Wind Tackle; Overcharged Claw Strike | Physical, melee Wind attack | Hauling 2; Wind 2 |
Mountain | Wind Tackle; Overcharged Claw Strike | Physical, melee Wind attack | Hauling 2; Wind 2 |
Choose the two combat skills for the build. Wind Tackle supplies a defensive effect and pushes small targets, while Overcharged Claw Strike provides a single-hit attack. Counter Strike applies to Helmwhelp when it is hit; another teammate taking damage does not activate it.
