Explained how weapon appearance collection bonuses apply to weapon attack
The Wardrobe (옷장) is where AION 2 characters collect and apply appearances for their armor, weapons and decorations. It is also a small stat track: collecting appearances fills a collection rate that grants stats. This page follows NCsoft's official Korean guidebook (wardrobe page updated June 30, 2026), the Korean update notes and NCsoft's official probability page, so the details describe the Korean and Taiwanese service. The Wardrobe opens with Alt+O on PC (since January 28, 2026).
Appearances come mainly from extracting equipment earned in play, and also from appearance synthesis, the in-game shop, the Daeva Pass and the Black Cloud Trading Company. The Wardrobe Shop (옷장 상점) sells outfits, weapon appearances and single pieces; the Style Shop is a separate shop for character customization styles.
Extracting a piece of gear from its item information screen costs some Kina and gives its appearance plus some Enhancement Stones. Appearances gained through item extraction stay in the Wardrobe and keep their collection effect (stated on June 10, 2026). See Item Extraction.
Collected appearances are shared by every character on the server. Since January 21, 2026 the Wardrobe has been merged per server and collection effects are recalculated from the server's combined collection; weapon collection effects still apply per class, and the guidebook notes that only your equipped weapon type benefits from weapon collection effects.
Since July 1, 2026 Special-grade outfits and pets bought in the shop are also server-wide. Duplicates were converted into exchange tickets (set, weapon, single-item and pass-shop tickets) that are spent in the Wardrobe Shop.
A server transfer moves and merges the Wardrobe into the destination server.
The Wardrobe tracks a collection rate for weapons, armor and accessories. The first time you obtain an appearance it awards collection points, and the collection effects screen lists the stat bonuses those points unlock. On November 26, 2025 the percentage stats granted by wardrobe collection effects were lowered. The guidebook does not list the individual bonuses.
Each kind of appearance raises a percentage stat tied to that equipment type. Weapon appearances raise an attack increase for their weapon type, and only the weapon type you have equipped benefits. Community testing on the Korean service describes the weapon bonus as a percentage of the equipped weapon's average attack (half the sum of its minimum and maximum attack) that is added to the character's base attack, so it is multiplied by Weapon Damage Boost along with the rest of that attack (see Damage Formula and Stat Efficiency). On long-collected Korean accounts the weapon bonus can reach several percent, which makes the Wardrobe a slow but permanent damage source.

Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
Equip tabs | Armor, Weapon and Decoration appearances can be equipped or removed per slot; right-clicking an appearance toggles it (since November 26, 2025) |
Hide and display options | Hide UI, zoom, show wings, show weapon and hair-up toggles. Weapon enhancement, Theostone and base weapon effects can be hidden (March 4 and March 18, 2026) |
Dyeing | The palette button dyes owned outfits and weapon appearances (described from February 25, 2026) |
Customization presets | New shop outfit sets come with customization presets (February 11, 2026) |
Wardrobe presets | Raised from three to six on October 7, 2026 |
Filters | Set, All, Helm, Pauldrons, Top, Bottom, Gloves, Shoes and Cloak, plus favorites and grade filters |
Four spare appearances of the same grade can be synthesized into one random appearance. The result is always at least the grade of the materials, with a chance of one grade higher, and a weapon result is always for your own class. Using a Lucky Aura (행운의 기운; provisional name) raises the chance of the higher grade. NCsoft's probability page (Elyos table, October 7, 2026) gives these totals:

Material grade | Chance of a higher grade | With Lucky Aura | Otherwise |
|---|---|---|---|
Common | 25% Rare | 35% Rare | Common |
Rare | 20% Epic | 30% Epic | Rare |
Epic | 15% Unique | 25% Unique | Epic |
Unique | 10% Hero | 15% Hero | Unique |
Hero | None | None | Hero (71 listed results, about 1.41% each) |
Within a grade every listed appearance has the same chance. The Asmodian table is published separately on the same page.
The October 7, 2026 global patch added a free dedicated Shop for Founder's Pack purchasers to obtain eligible skins, titles and other items they do not yet own, based on pack tier. It is available to every character on every server until NCsoft issues a closure notice. Items already owned are not purchased again; the pack page explains the original one-time claim rewards.
