Noiran's Hidden Legacy is a Transcendence dungeon in AION 2. NCsoft announced the English name in June 2026 and the dungeon opened on the Korean and Taiwanese service on August 12, 2026, as part of Chapter 1. Lands of Sand and Snow. The Korean name is 노이란의 숨겨진 유산.

The official story: Noiran, a genius from the Lepharists, founded the research group Kreion. Kreion succeeded in synthesising a substitute Odyle energy, but Noiran sensed how dangerous it was, halted the research and sealed the laboratory. Radicals who opposed that decision broke into the closed lab and carried on with experiments on living beings, sinking into madness after forgetting what they were for.

Global service: NCsoft's global announcements name only Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis among the Transcendence dungeons, as the two dungeons of the global leaderboard event. This dungeon is not in the global client's game data as of its September 18, 2026 snapshot. Everything else on this page describes the Korean and Taiwanese service.

Stages

All four stages opened on release day, each with its own entry requirement.

Arcana Rewards

The dungeon drops two new Arcana parts, Dice and Lantern. Their options include offensive lines such as Perfect Chance, Critical, Multi-hit and Impact-type Accuracy, and defensive lines such as Restoration, Endurance, Critical Resistance and Impact-type Resistance.

Bosses

On stage 4 every monster must be killed before the door to the final boss opens, damage taken lengthens health potion cooldowns, and stacking hits drop bombs that only moving away avoids. Incomplete Braunt and Mad Klominster are the game client's English names for the first two bosses; as of October 2, 2026 no source states which of them runs the poison fight and which the air-current fight, so the order and pairing in the table are unconfirmed.

Boss Mechanics

Community strategy guides on the Korean service describe the Mad Klominster fight around updraft vents: players receive numbers, stand on their own vent and jump as a red circle spreads from their body to ride the wind out of the blast. Askran's fight uses stack-or-spread circles marked by arrows, a rotating fan laser, an arena-wide attack that players survive by standing in an object that petrifies them, a left and right burn at half health, and a final phase where players carry coloured bombs from matching ropes and throw them at Askran to stagger him. The Korean notes place Mad Klominster in the Bio-Transplant Lab (생체 이식 실험장), where a fall-death problem was fixed on August 19, 2026. The same update fixed two Askran bugs: one of its attacks damaged players who were petrified, and its rotating laser did no damage to players who blocked it with Evasion Stance or a shield or weapon block, which is no longer possible.

Events

The Arcana Growth Support event, which began on August 19, 2026, triples the Arcana training items here and in Abyssal Horn Den on every stage and adds shards of Noble Crystal and Splendent Noble Crystal to the cube. It was first set to end on September 16, then extended to September 23 and again to November 4, 2026.
