This page lists problems NCsoft has acknowledged in the global version of AION 2 since Advance Access opened on September 30, 2026, with launch-week updates through October 8. It covers the global Windows client; Korean and Taiwanese patch notes have their own pages.
Server and Launch Issues

Support Answers for Common Errors

Not Officially Supported
NCsoft's launch FAQ says the game is playable with a controller but that controllers are not officially supported. AION 2 may run on other platforms or devices, such as Linux or Steam Deck, but official support covers only Steam and PURPLE on Windows PC. See System Requirements.
Reporting Problems
NCsoft directs account and payment problems to its customer support site and asks players to report bugs in the bug-report channel of the official community server. In game, a player can be reported by selecting them, for example by right-clicking their name or character, and choosing Report; reports are reviewed by the operations team and can lead to chat restrictions or a suspension.
October 7 Patch Fixes
The first post-launch patch fixed map pins to display a maximum of 30, the Asmodian Weekly Challenge Season Mission Daeva of Glorious Deeds, the duplicate Movement Controls setting and emote chat commands. Global Patch Notes: October 2026 lists the full changes.
Crashes and Fatal Errors
New support guidance covers verifying Steam files, temporarily disabling overlays and tuning tools, restoring default CPU/memory settings, compatible graphics drivers and conditional Intel BIOS or NVIDIA G-SYNC checks. A separate answer for PresentInternal(SyncInterval) failed resets only the launcher-specific UserSetting folder and disables Steam Cloud for Steam users. October 8 Europe Outage
The European cloud outage on October 8 was marked resolved. Compensation is announced for the next maintenance on specified affected servers. One-day extensions apply only to active membership or active pet auto-loot users on those servers; a Special Daeva Supply Chest is also announced by mail. The announcement does not confirm delivery.
