Added Deltras's named patterns and their fix history
Deltras is the final boss of Snowfield of Sorrow, the Chapter 1. Lands of Sand and Snow Sanctuary raid that opened on the Korean and Taiwanese service on September 9, 2026. His title in the game is Storm Legion Commander. The Korean name is 델트라스.
Global service: Snowfield of Sorrow is not in the global client's game data as of its September 18, 2026 snapshot and has not been announced for the global service as of October 7, 2026. Everything on this page describes the Korean and Taiwanese service.
Deltras was once a hero and guardian of Elysium. After he was executed in Asmodae he became a thought-form, trapped in a mental space of his own making where he relives the same tragedy. Haunted by memories of battle and betrayal that will not fade, his body is driven by a corrupted will that curses and destroys everything. He absorbs negative energy, and when his power peaks he will cross into the real world to destroy Asmodae. The Elyos want to bring their hero peace and the Asmodians want to stop the destruction of Morheim, so both work with his daughter Elpistera to stop his body.
Deltras is fought after the middle boss Triton by a ten-player force. The raid runs on a temperature gauge, and frozen players are pulled to safety with ropes. Before the final arena the raid has to find Deltras's swords to break an ice barrier. In September 2026 the Korean service fixed several of his skills, including a binding freeze that could leave its target open to other attacks, and made the purple ice crystals in one of his patterns easier to read for colour-blind players without changing their hit areas. On September 16, 2026 his health on Easy was cut by 10%.
A Korean strategy guide written after the first clear describes the fight around the temperature gauge: some attacks drop it sharply, and standing next to a warm party member raises it. Its key patterns:
Morheim's Blizzard: Deltras curses Morheim and marks four players with donut zones that kill on contact; players use the rope picked up at the entrance to pull the targets behind one of five walls, and a wall breaks once someone hides behind it, so walls are rationed across the three blizzards.
Core of Winter: the four players closest to Deltras are tethered and must steer clear of blue crystals, which hurt the whole raid, while destroying the purple crystals, which wipe the raid if any survive; ranged players break ice wedges at the edges of the arena.
Permafrost (영구동토): the final mechanic splits the arena into four with a cross that kills on contact, and waves fired at random players must not hit anyone twice; the others stay warm beside frost masses to melt them.
Charging whirlwind: Deltras thrusts at the player he is aggressive towards and spins after them, and anyone caught loses temperature quickly; slams leave zones that kill a player who is caught by three of them.
NCsoft's live stream of September 8, 2026 presented the raid as a reaction-based fight that avoids the strict whole-raid choreography of earlier Sanctuaries.
Pattern | What the notes show |
|---|---|
Frozen Bind (빙결 포박) | Freezes and stuns a player in place. Fixes on September 16, 2026 stopped bound players being picked as targets for Crystal Point (결정점) and Ice Crystal Fall (빙정 낙하), stopped death and revival from clearing the stun, and stopped a burst of hits killing a player as the bind ended |
Core of Winter (겨울의 핵) | Uses purple ice crystals; their look was changed on September 16 for colour-blind players, with the hit areas unchanged |
Aggro | His focus status now clears when the fight resets (September 16) |
Swords and barrier | Deltras's swords must all be found to break the ice barrier on the way to his arena; a September 16 fix made the barrier break reliably |
A September 23, 2026 fix stopped one of his skills spawning at the default respawn point, and the rope used to pull players to safety had its direction controls fixed the same day.
The first-clear event and the Sanctuary Hall of Fame are both measured by the time Deltras dies. The Hall of Fame keeps the first three Hard kills across all servers. Deltras's Seal, for the Seal equipment slot introduced with the raid, comes from this fight.
