Iceland is the location of the prologue chapter of 007 First Light. Bond, then a Royal Navy aircrewman, attempts a helicopter rescue along the Icelandic coast that collapses into a survival improvisation. The mission is the only chapter playable on the unpatched physical PlayStation 5 disc.
The prologue chapter Against the Odds is set entirely in Iceland. Bond demonstrates the resourcefulness that catches MI6's eye. The setting transitions from the helicopter crash site through Icelandic coastal terrain to the rescue completion point. Specific Iceland landmarks are not named in the campaign.
