Antarctica is the location of Chapter 9 (Wave of the Future) in 007 First Light. A remote installation chapter that tests stealth and combat under harsher constraints than the campaign's urban missions. The chapter culminates in catching the antagonist Isola.
Bond, now operating off MI6's books after the events of Chapter 8, infiltrates a remote Antarctica installation tied to the conspiracy. The cold environment forces shorter exposure windows and the installation's security is more aggressive than the campaign's urban missions. The chapter ends with the capture of Isola.
The installation is Webb Industries' research and development facility and houses HYPERION, a quantum AI built as a sibling system to THEIA. The visit ends with Bond destroying the stolen HYPERION core during a boat chase in the surrounding waters; the full sequence of events is covered on the chapter page.
