Overview

The Wise Crocodile Sculpture is a craftable Statues decoration in Windrose, built from the remains of a slain Crocodile. Once placed inside the radius of a Bonfire, it raises camp Comfort by 2. It is one of two crocodile trophies in the build menu, sitting alongside the Jolly Crocodile Sculpture; both are taught by the same plan and both belong to the Crocodile statue category, so their Comfort does not stack.

How Comfort Works

Comfort is granted per decoration category, not per item. Placing several decorations from the same category inside Bonfire range still counts once, so a second Crocodile statue adds no further Comfort. Higher total Comfort extends the duration of the Rested buff you gain by resting at the Bonfire, which is the main reason to fill out distinct decoration categories rather than duplicating one. The Wise Crocodile Sculpture only functions while it sits within the Bonfire radius shown in the build menu; placed outside that radius it contributes nothing.

Where to Get the Ingredients

Every ingredient for this statue comes from hunting crocodiles in the Cursed Swamps and surrounding wetlands. A single build needs one Crocodile Head, one Crocodile Tail, five Crocodile Hide Piece, and five Hardwood. The head and tail are uncommon butcher drops, so expect to clear several crocodiles before a single sculpture is ready. Tips

• Build only one crocodile statue for Comfort purposes. Because the Wise and Jolly Crocodile Sculpture share a category, the second one is purely decorative and adds no Comfort.

• Save crocodile heads and tails. They are gated butcher drops also used by other recipes, so do not vendor them if you still want this statue.

• Keep the sculpture inside the Bonfire radius. Decorations outside the glowing build radius give no Comfort, a common reason a placed statue seems to do nothing.

• The piece has 3,000 max health and is destructible, so place it inside a walled or defended part of your base if you play on a server where structures can be damaged.
