Once useful, these items now serve as decorations. The Wine Barrels are a flavour prop built from wood and copper, placed to give a settled camp a lived-in, dockside look.

Works only within the Bonfire range.

Overview

Wine Barrels sit in the Miscellaneous comfort category, the catch all bucket for Decorations that do not fit the seating, table, banner, or wardrobe lines. They are crafted from Wood and Copper Ingot, and like all comfort props they add a single point to their category. They are purely decorative now and, despite the name, do not store or ferment anything; for working storage use a Storage Barrel, and for brewing use a Fermentation Barrel.

Like every placeable in the Comfort System, this piece only counts toward your shelter rating while it sits inside the Bonfire radius. It contributes a single point to its comfort category, and because bonuses in the same category do not stack, adding a second item of the same category gives no extra benefit. To keep raising comfort you mix one item from each category rather than crowding several of the same kind.
