A wall made of logs
Wall (Log) is the cheapest full-height log wall segment in Windrose, costing only two Wood per piece. It is the standard early-game building block for enclosing a first base, since wood is the most abundant gathered resource and the wall raises in a single second. With 1,000 max health it is the most fragile of the log wall tier, so players who expect raids or who build inside contested biomes usually upgrade to sturdier materials once stone and clay become available.

Wall (Log) shares the same footprint as the wider Large Wall (Log), which covers two grid columns in one placement and suits long, straight runs. For tougher perimeters, the same slot accepts higher-tier swaps such as the Wall (Clay and Log) and the Wall (Stone), both of which carry more health for a higher material cost. Cheaper still are the Wall (Sticks) and Wall (Bark) pieces from the leaf and bark sets, useful for a throwaway first-night shelter.

Wall (Log) is part of the crafting progression chain rather than a standalone collectible. Use the recipe, station, and ingredient rows to trace what unlocks it, what it consumes, and which linked upgrades or materials should be prepared before crafting it.
Stockpile Wood early; a small enclosure can need dozens of segments, and each one is two wood.
Pair Wall (Log) runs with the Large Wall (Log) for long sides to cut the number of separate placements.
Keep walls within range of a fuelled bonfire so the structure does not decay and lose health over time.
All log walls in this set are taught by the same base plan, so unlocking it opens the whole starter wall line at once.
