Overview

Tool Shelf is a workbenchcraft station in Windrose. An upgrade extender for the Workbench. Snaps on with no construction cost and widens the base Workbench craft list with additional tool recipes.

Station Info

Construction Materials

This station has no construction requirements. It is placed through the build menu without consuming materials.

Upgrade Path

Tool Shelf is an upgrade extender that snaps to a Workbench. Placing it inside the base station's extender footprint unlocks the recipes gated behind this extender on the base station's own craft list. It does not craft items on its own; the base station handles all recipes.

Placement Strategy

The Tool Shelf is the only craft-station extender in the current build with zero construction materials. The station is placed for free from the build menu and immediately unlocks its Workbench recipes. Expect to build the Tool Shelf immediately after the base Workbench goes up; there is no reason to wait.

Tips

• Build the Tool Shelf on day one. Zero material cost means the extender always pays off.

• The shelf has no recipe menu on its own. Check the base Workbench craft list to see which recipes the Tool Shelf has unlocked.

• Place the Tool Shelf flush against the Workbench footprint. If the shelf ends up outside the base's extender radius, it will not register.
