Reading it permanently teaches a batch of clay-tile roof and plastered-wall building pieces for that character, all part of the Spanish Caribbean Base Building set. It is bought from the People of Tortuga Provisioner at reputation Level 3 for 20 Guinea.

Building Set

These pieces belong to the Spanish Caribbean style, a polished mahogany, plaster, and clay-tile look that suits colonial-era plantation builds. The roof angles (13 and 26 degrees) and matching ridges, corners, and cornices let you cap Walls and Arches with a continuous tiled roofline rather than a flat top. Collecting every plan in the same set keeps a base visually consistent across walls, roofs, and trim.

Currency and Cost

This plan is priced in Guinea, the English gold reserved for higher-end goods, rather than in Piastre, the Spanish silver used for everyday trade. If you are short on gold, the Smugglers of Port Royal will convert Piastre into Guinea, though the exchange rate is poor until your standing with them improves. Because one read teaches the whole batch permanently, a single copy is enough; the stack size of 20 mainly matters for carrying spares to trade.
