Plans: Reliable Musket is a Recipe Papers item that teaches the Reliable Musket crafting recipe. The unlocked musket trades raw accuracy for foul-weather dependability: it won't win any prizes for accuracy, but it never misfires, even in the foulest weather.

Effect

Reading the plan adds the Reliable Musket recipe to your Crafting workshop. The recipe sticks to the character; the plan paper is consumed.

Weapon Stats

The unlocked Reliable Musket is a two-handed firearm in the Muskets class. It carries the highest per-shot damage of any musket and scales with Precision. Its defining trait is a faster reload than other muskets, which suits the patient, set-piece sniping the class is built for. Values below are the maximum shown on the Item Level 15 card.

The Reliable line jumps to Precision (S) at Epic, the single largest scaling jump in the ranged roster, so a fully ascended Reliable Musket is the top sustained-damage pick for a Precision firearm build.

Crafting and Upgrade Path

After the plan is read, build the Reliable Musket at the Weaponsmith Workshop. The base musket recipe is Wood x10 plus Copper Ingot x7 at Workshop Level 1. Level 6 to 10 upgrades swap to Hardwood plus Foothills Iron Ingot, and Level 11 to 15 upgrades move to Mire Metal Ingot. Master's Tools are required from Level 7 onward, and two-handed muskets ascend to Epic with Tumbaga Ingot x9 via the Upgrade System. This matches the Wood material family already listed for the recipe.

Skills That Help

The Firearm Training talent adds flat ranged damage to every musket shot, so it is a core early pick for any musket build.

Plans: Reliable Musket is found in pirate-camp chests and similar mid-tier loot. Treat it like the rest of the Recipe Papers pool: low chance per chest, but a routine drop on full Blackbeard outpost clears.
