Plans: Leaf Roofs and Triangular Walls is a single-use Recipe Paper in Windrose. Reading it permanently unlocks angled leaf roofs, triangular walls, and canopy decorations for that character. The pieces belong to the early Coastal Jungle building style and let a starter base get a properly pitched, weatherproof roofline.

How It Works

The paper is consumed when read, and every listed piece is added permanently to the build menu for that character with no further fee. The numbers in parentheses are the bit cost per piece in build mode, for example a leaf roof section costs 2 bits and a triangular wall costs 6 bits. The unlock is per character, so each member of a shared Base Building group needs their own copy.

What It Unlocks

The plan covers angled roof pieces at 26 and 45 degrees, including ridges and corners, plus Triangular Wall (Sticks), Triangular Wall (Bark), and Triangular Wall (Leaves) gable pieces, and Canopies decoration. Recipe Papers like this one drop most reliably from looted chests in pirate camps and ruined points of interest across the Coastal Jungle, with occasional appearances in cargo from defeated NPC ships and in rotating trader stock at Tortuga. Once read, the unlock is permanent for that character, so a duplicate copy is best sold or traded.

Tips

• Match the roof angle across a building: mixing 26 and 45 degree pieces on the same roofline leaves gaps. Pick one pitch and use its matching ridge and corner pieces.

• Use a Triangular Wall (Leaves) to close the gable under a pitched roof so rain and enemies cannot reach the interior.

• Canopy pieces are cheap at 2 bits and work as a quick porch or market-stall cover before stone roofing is unlocked.
