Plague Warriors are heavy-melee Plague enemies in Windrose's Cursed Swamps biome. Armored in plague-corrupted plate and wielding two-handed weapons (greatswords, halberds, plague maces), they hit hard and absorb significant punishment. Plague Warriors often act as bodyguards for Plague Witches and as gate guards at plague-corrupted Ancient Ruins. They drop Quagmire Powder, a critical Mire Metal Ingot component.

Drops

Where to Find Plague Warriors

• Cursed Swamps Ancient Ruins (often as gate guards)

• Plague Witch encounters (act as bodyguards)

• High Priestess approach trails (heavy concentrations near the boss arena)

• Sometimes patrol bog pockets in pairs with other Plague Warriors

Hunting Strategy

• Use Pierce damage weapons; their plate armor heavily resists Slash and Crude

• The Reliable Musket and Reliable Pistol are particularly effective; 1-2 musket shots followed by melee finisher works well

• Never stand still adjacent; the plague aura DoT compounds with melee strike DoT

• Use the long windup of overhead and ground-slam attacks to land 2-3 hits between their attacks

• Bring Healing Potion (Great) and Pain Relief Elixir; Warriors can punish a single missed dodge severely

• Co-op makes Warrior fights significantly easier; one player tanks while another flanks to the rear
