Function

A pillar stands upright to support the beams and floors above it, so it is the vertical counterpart to a horizontal beam in any frame. This stone version costs 2 Stone and is unlocked alongside arches and columns, making it a natural fit for masonry builds. Its 750 max health is lower than the timber beams, so where extra durability or a more finished look is wanted, the related Column (Stone) and Pillar with a Base offer sturdier or more decorative alternatives.
